NSQG BIENNIAL QUILT SHOW - Hoffman Estates, Illinois
NSQG will host Quilted Pearls, on September 18-19, 2009. The show will be held at the Prairie Stone Sports & Wellness Center in Hoffman Estates. Hours are: Friday from 10:00am-8:00pm and Saturday from 10:00am-5:00pm.
Admission tickets: $6.00 at the door

Show features:
- 300+ quilt entries to include: wall hangings, large bed size, miniature and antique quilts
- Members' challenge competition
- Vendor Mall featuring nearly 20 vendors
- Miniature quilt auction of 200 mini quilts auctioned over a period of two days
- "Make and take" table
- 84x84 raffle quilt, made especially for this event (pictured below)
- American Girl Doll raffle: "Julie" (pictured below) with dozens of handmade outfits and accessories
- Demonstrations of techniques, new tools and antique quilts in our center stage

18" doll complete with a wardrobe of dozens of outfits and accessories donated and made by NSQG members, including hand made waterbed, matching wooden clothes rack and 4-drawer chest.
Raffle tickets for both the quilt and the doll are available through Sally Evanshank at
sevanshank@comcast.net. Tickets are $1.00 each or $5.00 for 6.
