TREE OF LIFE MEDALLION - SUPPLY LIST

Pattern is $9.00 - each person will need a pattern.

During class, we will layout the tree and work on the flowers. Therefore, they will only need for that day:
1 yard of Chintz or large floral for the theme fabric
1-1/2 yards of background fabric for the center panel (needs to match the background of the chintz as close as possible)
1-1/4 yards of freezer paper
1 yard of Steam A Seam Light of Heat and Bond Lite
Pencil
General sewing equipment
If they bring a sewing machine for machine applique/ Broiderie Perse, it will need a buttonhole stitch. We will also discuss and demonstrate needleturn applique and hand buttonhole as options for Broderie Perse. We will also need 2 ironing areas.

Supply list for entire quilt is:
3 yards of reproduction chintz for outside border, flower applique on tree and patchwork
1-1/2yards background fabric for center panel, match to background of chintz
1 yard brown print for tree trunk, branches, patchwork
3-4 yards of miscellaneous reproduction fabrics for patchwork, include light, medium and dark fabrics
